Context and mandate

Our client is seeking a Digital Media Planner to join the Media and Advertising, Performance team.

The candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of the client’s media campaigns. He/she is a key contributor to the definition of the client’s digital media strategy to ensure overall campaign planning and deployment of the campaign in line with the bank’s objectives.

Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the agencies, oversee the planning of campaign plans and ensure their
  • deployment.
  • Define audiences and analyze their characteristics, behaviors, and media habits.
  • Monitor and optimize campaign performance against objectives.
  • Identify digital media opportunities to achieve engagement objectives.
  • Provide recommendations on digital media strategy, campaigns, and tactics based on reports from the

  • Prepare and present pre-and post-campaign materials, including briefs and post-mortems using learnings and recommendations from using learnings and recommendations from the various parties involved.
  • Track costs to ensure compliance with approved budgets.
  • Act as a digital media expert and facilitate communications on campaign-related topics with key

Requirements

Professional experience

  • 7-9 years of experience in marketing, managing digital advertising campaigns.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in media planning (traditional and digital) and budget allocation.
  • Agency experience (an asset)
  • Knowledge of the financial market (an asset)

Education

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, advertising, or equivalent.

Knowledge and skills

  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in multi-channel advertising, online marketing, and paid social media.
  • Strong knowledge of digital performance analysis and analytical skills.

Soft skills

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills to work effectively to achieve common goals and commitments.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure and tight deadlines.
