About the role:
We are looking for an experienced individual who prides themselves in the multi-management of their Customer Service, Office Administration, and Medical Support skills! As a Medical Administrator, you will be expected (but not limited) to the following responsibilities:
Utilize your amazing Customer Service skills to greet patients and answer any questions they may have
Support both the needs of the medical team and the patients
Coordinate scheduling, payments, billing/invoicing, follow-up appointments, etc.
Prepare and maintain patient information and charts
Check all rooms for cleanliness and proper level of stock
Forward patient information as needed to other physicians
Be legally eligible to work in Canada
At least 1 year of related experience, preferably from a similar role
Proficient in medical terminology
Certified in Phlebotomy
Comfortable using computer, office, and medical software
Possesses flawless oral and written communication
Ability to demonstrate tact while interacting with frustrated/difficult patients
