Contract: Full-time

Shift Days: Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m with possibility of some weekends and evenings

Location: Toronto, ON

Wage: $20-30/hour depending on experience

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced individual who prides themselves in the multi-management of their Customer Service, Office Administration, and Medical Support skills! As a Medical Administrator, you will be expected (but not limited) to the following responsibilities:

  • Utilize your amazing Customer Service skills to greet patients and answer any questions they may have
  • Support both the needs of the medical team and the patients
  • Coordinate scheduling, payments, billing/invoicing, follow-up appointments, etc.
  • Prepare and maintain patient information and charts
  • Check all rooms for cleanliness and proper level of stock
  • Forward patient information as needed to other physicians

Requirements:

  • Be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • At least 1 year of related experience, preferably from a similar role
  • Proficient in medical terminology
  • Certified in Phlebotomy
  • Comfortable using computer, office, and medical software
  • Possesses flawless oral and written communication
  • Ability to demonstrate tact while interacting with frustrated/difficult patients
