The sales support analyst will focus on improving our processes and policies. This will be achieved through cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, strong communication, and the development of recommendations that make things better for our customers and ourselves. The role will work closely with account managers, DOE, TSP, Capacity Planning, Contracting, Billing, and other internal stakeholders to provide support and identify potential areas of improvement. The role will also identify areas of redundancy or efficiency within our policies and processes and will play a key role as we harmonize services and develop new policies and processes to support those services.

Key Accountabilities

  • Subject matter expert on behalf of our sales and support teams on internal cross-functional initiatives. These initiatives will typically involve new product and service development. Implementation is typically very complex and requires the coordination and consideration of input from all market segments.
  • Prepare drafts and recommendations on policy changes for acceptance and roll out, and develop sales briefings. Utilizing market experience and internal process knowledge. Will represent and advocate on behalf of the diverse market segments on assigned policy and procedure initiatives. For policy development, provides concise briefings to management and seeks management input. Gathers and consolidates multiple inputs to prepare a recommendation, and recommends policy direction to management.
  • Support sales participation in non-capital regulatory-related initiatives including rate cases, Earnings Sharing, and Deferral Dispositions.
  • Support the creation of communication materials for external communication and internal communications for customer impacts in the contract market. Develop a communication plan on behalf of sales with internal departments and sales support for customer impacts (deferrals, interruptions, etc.). Interacts with the Regulatory department on rate impacts etc. requiring customer communications
  • Supports training and education to Sales team members on internal procedures and policies and other assigned projects. Provide consistency in market approach to all customers in the same rate grouping or customer segment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Required (4 years + of relevant experience) :

  • Proven ability to develop and implement innovative solutions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate across a broad set of stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently/Self-starter

Preferred:

  • Experience in a rate-regulated utility

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: $28.00-$31.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
